Valley Door ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website and the Valley Door neighborhood mailer advertising program. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you reserve an ad spot, submit a contact form, or otherwise reach out to us, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, and any message you send us.

When you scan a QR code printed on one of our mailers, we log the scan for analytics purposes: the date and time, your device's user agent (browser/OS type), an approximate city derived from your IP address, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address. We never store your raw IP address.

If you pay for an ad spot, your payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe — we do not receive or store your full card number.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your questions and follow up on leads

• Process and confirm your ad spot reservation

• Generate and manage your trackable QR code

• Send transactional emails (reservation confirmations, lead follow-ups)

• Understand how many people scan each advertiser's QR code, so advertisers can see the return on their investment

• Improve our campaigns and this website

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to run this site and our campaigns:

• Stripe — payment processing for ad spot reservations

• Mailgun — delivery of transactional emails

• Mapbox — interactive maps showing campaign coverage areas

• USPS Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) — public carrier-route and demographic data used to plan mailer coverage; this does not involve your personal information

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf.

Our admin panel uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in — this is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies on the public site.

We retain reservation, lead, and scan-analytics records for as long as reasonably necessary for business, legal, and reporting purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you, and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

This website and our services are directed at business owners and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
